Sartorette's Science Lab

We are extrememly fortunate to have a room dedicated for our 4th and 5th grade science curriculum. As you may know, the Next Generation Science Standards are taught through the FOSS curriculum at Sartorette. Curious about what is FOSS? Click Here! Through this curriculum, students are participating in hands on investigations once a week with interactive notebooks. We have the space dedicated to these rigorous investigations so that the students gain the most from these experiences. Students work in their science lab teams and cooperate to answer a focus question of the day. So not only are students learning science skills, they are also learning life skills of cooperation and problem solving!
