Administration Staff
Meet our Administration Staff:
Principal Debbie Stein
Sartorette is the superstar of schools and I am very proud to be its principal since the 2019-2020 school year. I have been an educator in the Cambrian School District since 2005, and a parent in the district as well. There have been many changes since I joined Sartorette's staff and I am very proud of the advancements made toward meeting the diverse needs of our superstar students by accelerating students' academic progress, and promoting their social emotional well-being. We honor the individuality of students, seeing each of them as a whole person, and helping them identify and appeal to their strengths while supporting their all-around growth. We continue to add several meaningful enrichment programs to promote students to be the best version of themselves within the safe, equitable, inclusive, and distinctively nurturing school community.
Prior to my arrival at Sartorette, I taught English Language Arts, social studies, drama, and leadership to sixth, seventh, and eighth graders in the Cambrian School District: 11 years at Ida Price Middle School followed by three years at Steindorf STEAM Magnet School. In 2018, I was honored to be Teacher of the Year for Steindorf School and Teacher of the Year for the Cambrian School District. When I’m not working, you can find me spending time with my husband at SF 49er games, visiting my three daughters (all Cambrian graduates), walking my dog, watching musicals, or singing my heart out.
Attendance and Administration Clerk Julie Boggini
Hi! I’m Julie Boggini and I first became a member of the Sartorette family seventeen years ago when my oldest son started kindergarten in room KB. I have remained involved with Sartorette throughout all of these years working with students and am now proudly working in the front office. I am originally from Canby, Minnesota, but have lived most of my life here in San Jose. I am an alum from Branham High School (Go Bruins!) and San Jose State (Spartan Up!). My favorite things to do are gardening, going to golf tournaments, watching the Sharks play, listening to country music, and going on family vacations.

Health Clerk Cathy Whitney
Hi, I’m Cathy the health clerk at Sartorette Elementary School. I have worked at Sartorette for over 10 years, where I started as a volunteer and then helped with various jobs such as motor skills and yard duty. I really enjoy working at Sartorette and seeing how the students grow from kindergarten to fifth grade.
School Secretary Lori Zendejas
My name is Lori Zendejas, better known as Ms. Lori. I have been Sartorette’s school secretary since 2005. I absolutely love my job! Being able to help our students, staff and parents is so rewarding. Each day is never the same. It is a pleasure to watch most of our kiddos start in kindergarten and finish up 5th grade ready to conquer middle school and beyond. I enjoy visits from our former students who are now in middle school, high school and college. I am so proud to be part of the Sartorette community, which is filled with the most kind hearted, giving, fun and passionate people. I have lived in San Jose my whole life, raised in Almaden Valley and I graduated from Leland High School. I have been married to my husband Greg for 26 years, and I have two adult sons and two grandsons. My happy places are the beach and Lake Tahoe. I love to spend my time with my family (especially my grandsons), running with my dogs, riding my bike, hiking, cooking, and hanging out on my front patio talking to neighbors, friends and family. I am also a huge 49er fan!
